He’s right that they should replace him at the very least.  I personally liked when Matt LeBlanc hosted Top Gear.

I’m waiting for the all electric 718 next year!

“If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower.”

Porsche? They are mainstream in SUVs, they do EVs and they’ve been around forever. I’m gonna guess that repairs aren’t cheap but I’ve had two Porsches and they were pretty reliable.

Here are some specifics instances of crappy designs.

I lived down the road from a guy who had way more junk piled up in his yard. He was a really nice neighbor so I thought no more of it.

Perhaps this is a combination of the airlines not wanting people to legally game the system AND the fact that the passenger was a minor. If the kid got lost, everyone would point the finger at the airlines asking why didn’t they keep track of him.

Being on an overnight flight, the cabin is dark, people are trying to sleep and there’s that one person who has their seat back video screen on the entire flight.

    Wrong spot

“On the other side of the coin, 45 percent of dealers without EVs said they wouldn’t sell them even if they were available”

or perhaps we could wait for a verdict? You know, the verdict that comes after the jury gets to hear all the evidence and gets to see and hear the litigants in person.  They generally take it very seriously.

Probably not just local but here in Virginia we have intersections where the stop sign is not on the right side but smack in the middle between the two lanes. Every so often someone, probably at night, cuts the corner and mows the sign down. I think they’re finally starting to see the sense and not having them

The use of AI as a legal advocate has a lot of merit. Importantly, the AI wouldn’t have personal issues, would be available 100% of the time, would not be biased because the client looks like their ex-wife, etc.  An open-source legal advocate would live on your phone and could be much cheaper than a human lawyer.

I once had an employee who asked me (I’m the CFO) to have payments for her title loan done from her paycheck. I was floored when I saw the effective interest rate and told her since she could still return the money and get out of the loan, we would loan her the $2000 at normal rates.

I guess you could draw all sorts of conclusions here but there are corroborating statistics that look at vaccine acceptance and things like education, political position, religious belief, climate change, conspiracy theories, etc.

Just take their cars until they can prove they’re adult enough to have them. The new law is a good one if they would enact it now.

Agreed.  OTOH, the NYPD should have a website where you can upload pictures of people obviously screwing with the law.  The resulting fines alone would easily pay for it.

They do tighten up when you apply torque. It’s kind of self adjusting in that sense. The issue I had is the range of each wrench is pretty small, they only torque in one direction and they don’t feel secure in tight situations. I sent mine back.

I think if you like tools, these are kind of interesting. I bought a set but sent them back because I realized the set of four at $140 can be replaced with one $10 crescent wrench albiet without the “cool’ factor. They’re also tricky to use in tight situations.  I wasn’t impressed.

Having recently bought a new truck, I wasn’t surprised at how they present the numbers. It’s simple, give the customer the price that includes any and all applicable discounts (whether or not they will actually get them), leave off as many charges and fees as possible and bingo a nice low number. The “out the door”
