Nice call. Not many people know about the C’s. I have both. A 74.5 Midget and a ‘69 C GT. They are fun in different ways.
The Miata engine is too tall. A 4AGE will fit. Another common swap is a Mazda rotary. I would love to do a Honda S2000 swap but those engines are too tall and too long. A turbo Mazda 13B would be a fun swap and make for a wild ride.
