Its a ‘72. The came as negative ground from the factory. As for the floor boards...peel back the carpet to check from above and then check from below.
He is referring to the rear wheel arches. The earlier and later cars had square wheel arches. The 72(?) thru 74 cars had round wheel arches. I have a 74.5 (the very last of the steel bumper, 1275 cars) and prefer the RWA cars.
Technically its Florida, but in reality its south Alabama. Inbred rednecks and all of the other stupid redneckery bullshit.
This Evans guys sounds like a twat.
With Audi, S and S-Line are 2 different things. S-Line is a trim package and can be added to any of the A models. S cars are A cars that have either different engines or upgraded engines as well as suspension upgrades, etc. (more performance). S cars are special, just not quite as special as RS cars.
Why? The new WRX/Sti sedans are ugly as fuck.
The guy is a piece of shit, but the podcast about the car was great. The development that wen into that little car was fascinating. IIRC they spent over a million dollars on that car and then bought the company. Hell, the damned engine had a special procedure just to shut it off.
Were you worried about being penalized for the bump n run pass on the Porsche?
The manufacturer’s playground is GT. That is where the money is being spent and where the bragging rights are. Nobody (other than a handful of people) gives a shit about the 1980's Trans Am cars they reskinned and now call DPs.
Hopefully this stops the depreciation and jump starts the price climb for my 986S. Fingers crossed that all flat sixes just jumped in value!
You say close competition, I say manufactured bullshit in the name of entertainment. NASCAR has become pro wrestling when it comes to this kind of stuff and they lost me as a fan a loooong time ago.
Holy shit thats cool. I want one of those for when my wife is having one of her wifey moments.
That was/is a common term for them. Rent-a-drunk and Rent-a-bum were interchangable and meant the same thing. In hindsight it sounds bad but it wasnt intended that way. Construction folks just talk in a different way than normal office people. When we needed unskilled laborers to sweep floors, do general clean up,…
sooooooooooon
Not necessarily. Sure this is an oversimplification, but a guy turning screws shouldnt be getting paid the same as an engineer, or an engine installer, etc. Therefore a screw turner might only be able to afford a Neon even though he’s turning screws on Ram 3500s.
Brakes are for bitches
