what about the one where he thought an alien invasion would have positive affects on our GDP?

Hire Tomatoface.

Seriously - does anyone really want to read about [sports/tech/politics/lifehacks] from the perspective of social justice warriors who don’t even really like [topic]?

I read Fox news for my rightious right take on news. Like GMG and HuPo, I may not agree to what is being said but I will listen and read to understand why people feel a certain way. Yes, I will wade into the various echo chamber comment sections to see how people react to opposing opinions. The responses from both the

the free speech part doesn’t bother me so much... it’s that Deadspin writers are constantly calling others “babies” and things like that for not being able to take criticism while they’re doing this same stuff. The lack of self-awareness is just laughable at this point.

Some people actually like to hear differing opinions. I am centrist in my beliefs and always read news from multiple sources on the same topic to get various view points. I always pick at least one righteous right, one social justice left, a few unbiased, and a few international organizations for news. I go to Gawker

“Trump won in large part because a vast swath of this country felt ignored and bullied”

Hi, tomato face!

You make perfect sense to me.

Deadspin has a whole host of writers that just outright ban if you if you disagree with them... not even being vulgar. They’ll just delete and ban user. I’m sure they’re not the only site in this family doing that.

1) Eh sort of, most articles have Gen Z going conservatively fiscal and going to church, but social issues they mostly lean left (IE Gay marriage, transgenderism etc etc)

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is the perfect example of what I’m talking about. Anyone who doesn’t think like Dr. Henry Killinger is a racist, bigoted xenophobe.

You know, I was about to come at you with something like “it’s no different from right-leaning outlets”, but I realize that isn’t the point.

lol at “I have friends”

Could not have said it better myself. This place, splinter especially, is such a shameless echo chamber it’s frightening. There needs to be a check on some of the disinformation being spread here. The left likes to talk about how right wing media platforms bend the truth on a daily basis, which they might as well be,

I’m pretty familiar with this place. I can tell you that the Kinja platform is being massively underutilized through too narrow a scope of allowed opinion. From a business standpoint, there is - right now - a massive opportunity to capture an ignored audience and I sincerely doubt anyone in this company knows how to

Not sure if joking or serious, but I see how someone like this isn’t in the greys, you just gotta follow someone that says such off the wall stuff strictly for entertainment purposes.

#1 is my thought exactly. This site, amongst its dozens and dozens of contributors, has ONE political viewpoint that is allowed to be published, and it’s not a particularly useful one because it’s always dripping with hyperbole.

But that is the beauty of the Russia hysteria: we no longer have to be self reflective of our failures, just blame Putin. It was a brilliant invention over shake shack frys. The DNC has totally avoided any change of behavior or strategy by blaming Putin for losing to Trump. If they can pull that’s off, why wouldn’t

FTFY.
