Jesus, what the hell are they thinking. Never been this put off from one gen to the next. Even the Wii didn't put me off Nintendo right away. It took them a few years. Actually being turned back towards their Wii U now.

I think you'll find that in that original GIF the Xbox One is already dead.

I just type out Xbox One because I'm not that bloody lazy.

Edited that cos I felt I was being too crude.

I think Gametrailers did a top 10 franchises they'd want to see turned into fighting games and Warcraft was high on the list. It not as if it would be lacking variety of characters to be fair.

Going with a bit of Elite Dangerous production art right now. before that a Squirrel Girl pic.

I was hoping it would work like a portable vinyl record player. That would have been retro cool... or something.

So Nintendo should hear of these guy's offer in about 5=8 years right? That's the average time it takes for Nintendo to catch up with the rest of the world, right?

On the plus side if there's any exploits in the DRM free version it'll always be unaffected for those guys. No rick of missing out on certain newer features because they want to play the game as it was on release. Some people will appreciate that.

Does the new game have NES games in it? Was one of my favourite aspects of the GC version.

Here's my problem with no backwards compatibility. Does that mean I can't transfer my 100 XBLA games over to the new console. Cos they cost me a lot and I don't have an infinite amount of space under my TV. Surely MS would want the next Xbox's marketplace to be fully stocked with available content from the start so

I had an Amiga Tetris clone that played horizontally and whenever you got a Tetris a Macho man style voice went "Oh yeah!". I swear it was called Tetrix but can't find evidence of the game that looks like the one I remember online.

So WWE have made a game featuring The Rock that is about his movie career and not his wrestling career. I guess even they consider movies to be cooler than their wrestling product now.

It was only at the Guildford office though, we had no air con for a while there too. When we were at the old Chertsey HQ we were treated pretty much equally with the exception of the perks that came with being a permanent member of staff. I was actually quite surprised how good working in QA was after reading a lot of

In the case of the UK QA team, we kinda were. Our jobs were shuffled off to Romania.

Well, more HR and department bosses, but yeah. They didn't want us scruffy testers making them look like a company for gamers or anything.

Random story about the day JR came to my office. I was working at EA in Guildford at the time in the QA department and we were told that once he arrived we weren't allowed to leave via the main entrance/exit. When he came he was giving some talk in the lobby with a load of reporters around. i assume they were

I've only had a couple of issues. My only problem with the list is that I own 5 of those games. No interest in MOH or DS3 so I guess I'll get SimCity 4, which I kinda wanted anyway a while back. They should have put The Sims 3 on there though.

There's quite a few SImCity players who have said they'd download that if it was available. Would be funny if it ended up being the most downloaded one.

Oh god yes. And I honestly wouldn't have been as surprised if it was dubstep as I am that they used the Tron score.

Seriously? The Tron Legacy score? Yeah, totally suitable for a medieval style fantasy series. That said, a friend of mine brought a Thai drama back from Thailand that's about a woman who wants to be an air hostess and that uses most of the Tron Legacy score the whole way through. Even then it wouldn't suit the mood of
