It doesn’t look like any of the teachers actually thought it was a bomb. I mean, the one teacher took it from the kid; if that teacher had actually thought it was a bomb they wouldn’t have even touched it.

To a point, yes. My speedometer has been broken on my motorcycle for years. Generally, I just use traffic. Other than that, I have a good idea of my speed in 6th by using the tach.

Wow. There is some logic there, however flawed the idea is. Can you imagine an instructor yanking away on the hand brake in a last ditch attempt to stop the vehicle being driven by an inept examinee? Or, even worse, fighting the driver for foot space and jabbing the brake with his left foot in a desperate attempt to

That’s just mind blowing.

Let me just get this out of the way - First paragraph after “Why you should care” change “their” to “there.” (When will we get PM capability?)

This would be more accurate as, “Ingest Freedom:Poop Patriotism.”

What’s up with the if/when it breaks down comment?

Awesomely bad deal. And look at all that junk in the garage! (looks like mine)

I saw those ramp things. I’m not sure that’s the same scene in the .gif. You might be right though.

Subies got nothing on Volvos

So much mechanical goodness in view! This is the look I fell in love with back in the 90’s.

Helmet -always

It’s so bad that I completely ignore what the ad says and look for the interior pic.

The “Brad” girl is sorely missing from this post.

I’ve got a good one.

Raph, it’s clear from the comments that any post regarding spoilers has to include an explanation, or at least a link to an explanation, of what a spoiler does.

Refer to GruvDesign’s point above. You can’t tell if is pointless just by how it looks. I have to assume that in wind tunnel testing the spoiler met some criteria of reduced drag.

I had to vote NP. Nostalgia and all that. That was my first car, and except for stripping out the interior that’s what I wanted to do with it.

Torch, I’m not an anti-vaxxer, my kids are vaccinated, and I think you are all wrong about this. The analogy leads to ridiculous conclusions, and that is the point.
