Ugh. I feel like the shark didn’t live up to its implementation of Darwinism.

I’m all for free-range parenting... Until I remember every “Missing” poster I’ve ever seen, every documentary I’ve ever watched about a missing child... And then I want to follow my kid down the street until I die.

I believe what she had was a shortened cervix, and she had a stitch put in to prevent her cervix from opening. Or at least that’s how it came across. If that was the case, then her health and safety wasn’t really at risk, the baby would have been delivered with very little chance of survival. In this case, I get their

I laughed so hard at that I had to explain it to my summer student. She’s 19 years old and childless so I don’t think she gets it.

Sam, if you want to come home, you can go on CBC and call anybody anything you want. (Disclaimer, I don’t work for CBC, but go on and do it.)

I’m thinking Vancouver might want to rethink the new voice of their transit system.

“There’s a certain irony implicit in the narrative that the story can never quite reveal; namely, that this evidence is ignored because the capacity for extreme violence is rarely believed. It seems like we rarely believe white boys or men when they tell us that they are violent. Harassment is explained away as

“Later, Wong likens a mommy group she joined once she had her first child as a necessity, like banding together with other survivors on The Walking Dead”

Yeah, I was more referring to not wanting to hear my MOM and her crew talk about it. But you? Raunch away. Random peeps? Go on with it. But knowing that Doug likes to do Pat in the kitchen after Wheel Of Fortune? I could have lived without.

I’m still trying to block out a conversation my mom and a couple of her friends had in front of me a few years ago. I could have happily lived my whole life without having hear that.

Not at all. I could have been more clear, like your post.

I’m sorry if it came across as me being critical of TPH. I agree with what you said, which is why I used the word, “has” instead of “chooses” in what I wrote.

Doesn’t she live in that place since she has to work with Terrence Howard on the regular?

They should have started with a movie about her mother.

I feel like all I hear in my head is, “My brand, my brand, my brand.” I don’t actually think she cares what he tweets, but how it affects her brand.

I think that part was my favourite part of the whole piece for the sheer joy I had at laughing at her.

Damn, this was a bleak read. As a single, low income, mother myself, my heart goes out to these women and women like them.

For some reason I’m thinking about While You Were Sleeping starring Sandra Bullcock. On one level that movie was supposed to be about a triangle between her and two brothers. But that’s not why I love the movie. I think it is a romantic comedy but the two brothers are moot. She’s a woman without a family who falls in

YES. This is the real story. They can explain away the Ford casting, but how do they explain changing a female major player in the saga into a male??

Trudeau under his breath, “Love thy neighbour. Love thy neighbour... Really try to love thy neighbour...”
