It seems a lot of artists have this perception that if they make good, or at least popular art, all of their other actions should be forgiven. That their music, or movies, or books, somehow absolves them of their crimes. 

I think what this demonstrates is that some black men have a kind of narcissism that only allows them to see themselves as victims. Black women’s abuse and suffering seemingly does not even register for them. A man in a position of power abuses black women and girls for decades and these men cannot even bring…

I worked at Disney World in 2011/2012 and a ton of my coworkers were living in shitty extended stay hotels because they couldn’t afford anything else. I hope the employees win this.
