I was very, very shocked at how awful Dakota Johnson was in the live skits. The Please Don’t Destroy was fine, even good, but man... was she high or something? Every single line was like a an extremely awkward second or two late.

Okay, and you said “that may be true in some places” so what are we debating here, really?
It’s deli meat. If it’s ordinary ham/salami/turkey coming from the plant then slicing at the counter does nothing except look good. This is just foolishness on Subway’s part.
“Goddamn, they’re soft,” sobs comedian after bombing at a gig.
It's Lacey Underall, dammit!

Was it not clear that we’re supposed to assume that the pagan ritual in the secret basement room is why she wins the election? That definitely felt like what the show wants us to think. I’m still not 100% positive about the supernatural explanations (although the bear bowing to sacrifice itself was definitely more…
This turned out to be a pretty good new series. I thought it was overrated at first but these last four or five episodes were great. The writers know how to balance funny comedy and unsettling mystery/drama.
I thought the man who invited Jackie was the guy who died in the cabin?
How this connects to everything is anyone’s guess as much of what is going on with Shauna seems to pre-date the plane crash.
