You need to define conservatism. Standard right of center conservatism is no more. Lower taxes, smaller government and laissez-faire don’t cut it anymore.

I mean people in general get excited all the time about rare artefacts that we find in the world, if for example someone found an old Picasso painting that we thought was lost, even if it’s a mediocre Picasso it would still create a lot of excitement because it’s rare and a piece of history.
