Nah. Working a dead end job doesn’t make you like this. Everyone’s got to make money to eat and you take what you can get sometimes. This is just more greed fueled idiocy from trend chasers hoping to make some easy money. 

Seems like the same thing is happening with certain retro games as well. I’ve been using pricecharting.com to keep track of my collection and values of some of my games just keep going up and up.

For real though. Every scalper I’ve seen at my local Walmart looks exactly like this. White dudes in their 20s-early 30s, baseball caps, and most likely working in some field of construction.

Ehhhh. These scalpers are kind of different than the ones scalping ps5's and xboxes. These people are pathetic because they’re snatching up new releases where the money is really in old releases. Walmart can't do that, they used all their locked up aisles for products primarily purchased by black people. They aren't really subtle.

I only poke my head into the Epic Games Store maybe once a week, just to claim the free game. I haven’t played any of them of course, but I figure it doesn’t hurt to have a stash of several dozen free games on hand (some of them pretty good titles too!) in case of an emergency.
