I'm young and I had never heard of them.

Oh I got that, lol. I was just saying. :) As far as that other person goes, it's terrible when women are against feminism and denigrate work that is very important in every society.

Or maybe it's a joke and suggests that a woman would be more in tune with what another woman wants and how her body functions.

It's awful when you're with someone who just does what they want to do with no consideration for your needs. That's how my first partner was.

I agree. It's difficult to find people who are willing to do work that can be pretty disgusting like that. The commenter was trying to make the point that there shouldn't be people who are paid to do that kind of work because every woman should be doing that work as a stay at home mother.

I once saw a comment (from a woman) claiming that all nurses do is wipe butts and noses.

Because she was about to have a child of her own I guess. But doing while she wasn't pregnant would have been just as bad obviously.

She was jealous of your awesome style. That's all!

Anyone who thinks they're entitled to touch a stranger like that needs to be punched.

WHY WOULD SOMEONE DO THAT TO A STRANGER???

Arroz caldo! It turned out delicious.

I think I actually threw unopened tampons at my brother once for making me angry. :)

My dad got angry once when my mom left a bag of UNOPENED pads on the counter. He said it was gross :P

I always wrap my stuff up when it's time to throw it away. I used to get slightly annoyed at my roommate because she didn't wrap hers. :P To each their own, I guess I just don't really want to see someone else's blood and discharge even though periods themselves are nothing to be ashamed of.

She also thinks Starbucks has good coffee!

I can see your point as to why it is cowardly. You will catch a LOT of heat from some people if you openly and unapologetically identify as a feminist.

I think my friend is hilarious because she thinks the only good "coffee" is the kind that doesn't taste like coffee at all.

Are you hating on my sugary milk tea? Them's fightin' words! >:(

I used to be SO self conscious about the little black dots! I used to tweeze them out of my legs and underarms when I was younger.

Your grandma sounds like an awesome lady.
