I appreciate that despite being hopelessly underdressed for the task at hand she’s still trying to get the job done with a smile on her face. I appreciate her positive attitude.

Congratulations, Mr. Pastey, on COTD! I would like to gift you with a Chevy Trailblazer which this lovely lady will deliver with mud flopping off the wheels.
Goddamn that Smart driver for leaving me on the side of the cop.
Except for the tires denoting otherwise, that really looks like the hi-res wireframe cutaway of a completely different battery powered device.
Given the fact that they bought it as soon as it came out, I assume they must have paid MSRP. So their cost is $35k + 6% tax = $37.1k in 2002 money, which is about $50k in 2017 money.
i will never understand people that buy cars to not drive them..... theres only so much looking at a car i can do before i get bored.. i’ll never get bored of driving them (well... some cars i might...)
It is time to bring hood ornaments back, I agree. Hood ornaments and bench seats.
Seriously. The way this one was executed could translate well to lots of other brands if they so choose...
I dig it, but the hood ornament -
My dad had an Infiniti G20 when I was a little kid. Sunroof, leather interior. It was a beautiful car that I always hoped to inherit someday but one night during a rainstorm he was rear-ended by a hydroplaning truck and that was the end of the G20. He was fine.
But Infinitis have heritage to me.
I hope that hood ornament makes it onto a production car - it’s badass!
I’ve never really had a problem with Infiniti’s fascia. Perhaps you’re thinking of Lexus. Either way, I’m holding my ground—this thing is pretty.
It’s a good thing that there isn’t a ton of vibration and forces on the fuel tank to mix all of that junk into the fuel when I’m driving.
Dear car fanboys:
“Only 335 HP”
This is why we can’t have nice things. “I totally would have bought it if it had 600hp, an 8 speed manual, weighed 1400 pounds, had a leather interior with power everything, an infotainment system that rivals my 4k/X-box set-up and only cost $15,000.”
If I was an auto exec I’d cut y’all…
Thing is... I usually try to run the Dragon north and then south... Sometimes depending on my day I only run it one way. On the day if I have the time I’ll run her up and down a few times. Usually I get a run or two that have very little slow pokes and if so, they use the pull offs and we exchange friendly waves. So…
Im fairly local and have just about completely stopped going to the Dragon. Assholes like these are the reason. Bikes that wont pull over, people in Crown Vics that have brakes that are boiling smoke out of em and wont pull over, sport bike riders that feel like they can pass anywhere etc. Hwy 28, The Skyway, Hwy 68…
This is a little further than the spot where the miata crossed the double yellow line to pass the scooter. Tell me if this is “that blind”. Please describe the features behind those trees. What color was the car behind the one they almost struck? Surely with the gobs of foresight you have you can easily describe the…
Miata illegally passes over a double yellow on blind turns and almost causes a head on collision? Maybe that’s what was wrong with it? I dunno though, I’m just a human being with eyes.
