I do agree on that. The uniqueness of the current Cuba only came about because of the sanctions. If the embargo had never happened it would just be another Caribbean island to go drink at, and Miami would have a fraction of the Cuban influence it has now.

Half of my in-laws are 100% Cuban, with only the latest generation being U.S. born. None of them see this as being a bad thing, and can’t wait to safely be able to visit their homeland again.

Umm, you do realize that it was like that before Castro, right? People talking about “real Cuba” just mean the impoverished one, and not the booming one fed by U.S. dollars 60 years ago.

San Diego county is about as close to a free part of CA as you will find. I would also assume most people there have a gun on them, as they aren’t as afraid of rights there as in most cities in CA. Camera guy was way nicer than I would have been.

As a big Hamilton fan I might be seeing this a bit skewed, but I don’t think so. He left Rosberg two full car widths to make the turn and he just drove straight into him. It was a great race from start to finish I thought, and obviously I was happy in the end.
