It depends on the rifle whether it would be worth it or not. A cheap $600 one, no. A nice Colt then it might be worth it just to flip the car to someone else.

I am not talented or coordinated enough to do either. I just remove my foot from the brake, clutch it, blip the throttle, downshift, then back on the brakes. If it got paid to drive I’d maybe spend the time learning it, but for hitting The Dragon my way does just fine.
