There's a system of Intermediate Units in Pennsylvania. As I said below, I was wrong about this one being an IU, and they mean intermediate in the way you mean it. I've never heard a Pennsylvania school called that unless it was an IU, they're mostly middle schools and junior highs here.

Oh, I'm sorry, I've never heard a middle or junior high school referred to as an intermediate school in PA before, although I have in other states, and assumed. My fault entirely. The I.U.s are a part of the PA Dept. of Education, though, I think you could see my confusion with the naming.

Okay, I'm a Pennsylvanian, and "intermediate" is code for place where kids with special needs go to school, which makes this just that much worse. I.U.'s are supposed to be places where kids who have special physical or emotional needs can have those needs met in a caring environment with specially trained and

1. I loved Sophia Veragara's explanation for wearing so much Vera Wang to Seacrest on the red carpet, Vera Wang sends her dresses that zip up and she doesn't have to go through a million fittings to make the dress work on her body.

Seriously on the fast delivery, I ordered something after 4 pm on a Thursday and had it the next morning, I didn't even get the shipping confirmation email until the day after that. Essentially, what I'm saying is, I will cut anyone who tries to take my Zappos away from me.

No, the books are terrible. Terrible and dated and not dated in any way that's fun.

As a native Pennsyltuckian, I can tell you that it's the cult of Joe Paterno and the sway it holds over people is astonishing. Also "a higher than normal concentration of compassionless pricks" pretty much describes Happy Valley to me anyway. My dear, dear friend/PSU alumn doesn't have a stock "Arrogant Penn Stater"

Not really, it's been a few years since I've started the shots and meds and my stomach has gotten better. All I can say is talk to your doctor, see what options there are and see how you feel after your allergies are better managed.

I wish Abigail Breslin was wearing Ahhhhhhhhhna O'Reilly's dress. She'd look so pretty in it instead of that ill-fitting, lolita nightmare she's got on.

It's allergy adjacent, I had such severe post-nasal drip that it was causing acid reflux. Hurray for phlegm! Of course, my GI specialist didn't notice this, it was something I figured out on my own when I read about the adverse effects Nexium could have on nutrient absorption over time. Since I've gotten my allergies

See, though, my severe dust, mold and dust mite allergies didn't start until college, getting progressively worse as I got older, and my mild grass allergy until I was an adult. I grew up in the country, surrounded by muck and nature and goo, we used to play in a hay loft for crissakes, and always had minor seasonal

The Vampire Diaries is legitimately good, and I will not let you shame these poor French people into naming their child after one of the most delightfully smarmy characters on TV.

My co-worker's boyfriend had dreads as a teenager, and now claims that after awhile, his hair just starts to "grow that way." She was like, no honey you just need to brush your hair more often.

We, the writers at my place of employ, had to fight long and hard to get anyone to believe that it should be "on-premises solutions," not "on-premise solutions." It's solutions for a place not solutions based on an idea!

GAH! She's so purdy, it makes me lose my facility with words.

Oh, Mowry! Kiera Knightly just wore that dress to the National Board of Review thingy, and aside from bare legs, I don't like it any better on you.

Illusion netting, a wondrous panty-hose like fabric, it allows fringe to flow from your back as if put there by nature. If the picture went up higher, you'd be able to see the neckline.

I thought, "WTF? A flat roll? That's not a hoagie!" It's a sickness and we're all infected.

I love this so much I want to take it out behind the Wawa and get it pregnant. You can do lots of things behind a Wawa.

He should never speak. Or act, I guess. He's probably fine at speaking in his real life.
