The group calls itself fascist solutions yet would probably get offended if you called them fascist.
Your comment is still visible you know... No one is silencing your point of view we are just saying we disagree.
I like how the administrator tried to stand up for his students. I wish this would happen more often, just like in the case of that nurse in Utah. What are police going to do, start locking up nurses and principals? Sure, they could, but the optics on that would be so bad it might actually affect positive change.
Don’t forget attempting to suppress the media and negative reporting.
Some people fail to understand the purpose of the federal government. One big problem with people’s thinking right now is how some think the government can or should be run like a business. The federal government should not be run like a business; as a tool used to exploit weaker entities for it’s own benefit.
Easy. Because it’s the right thing to do. Nothing else in your comment matters.
I not an expert on the subject, so correct me if I am wrong. It looks to me like the only reason they are stuck between being unable to sustain themselves independently and being unable to maintain their economy without a deficit should they become a state is because of decades of US policy that is written to exploit…
Thank heavens they don’t allow any profanity.
Everything you say is spot on. That said, I often wonder how best to go about teaching my kids about topics like slavery, Jim Crow, the Civil Rights Movement, and (most importantly) the effect it has on people today and the responsibility we have to promote real equality. As an educator, what do you think is a good…
When my daughter was 3 she drew a rectangle with a face with it’s eyes closed on it and a bunch of stick figures around it with a sad look on their faces. Some were crying. I asked her what it was and what she said will always stick with me, “It’s me in bed asleep, and everyone is watching me but they are sad.” Too…
I love how how some of his supporters are quoting Hitler and walking around with images of swastikas but still get offended if you call them nazis.
That’s my point though. I really believed that based on what I had seen. White dudes steal these kinds of things and find a way to make it about them. I agree it isn’t right. If I say something stupid feel free to point it out because I’m trying to learn.
Than some people? Definitely. Than most people? Maybe? My argument isn’t that you shouldn’t take pride in how hard you’ve worked though. That is good thing, and part of what makes this country great is that if you work hard you may find success. My argument is only that you should acknowledge that there are no…
We all have biases. The key is to be aware of them, and take steps to prevent them from affecting our behavior.
I’m sure he really did work hard to get where he is. It doesn’t matter though. Everyone works hard.
I use this argument to people all the time, but it is very refreshing seeing someone actually in a higher income bracket saying this.
I’m sure you worked hard, but if you are implying you worked harder than the majority of people below your level of income and that your income is proof of that, you deserve the ego checking you are receiving here.
Everyone works hard. There are exceptions, but they exist at every income level. Some of the hardest working people you’ll ever meet are homeless or on wellfare. It’s more than just what you do for a living, it’s everything else on top of it.
As someone who earns in the 40k range, unless he is somehow living paycheck to paycheck he doesn’t have a lot in common in with me. If he is, he’s an idiot, and still doesn’t have a lot in common with me.
