Or just unraked, wet leaves. My granny cart comes with some larger, sturdier wheels, and leaves are a mess. And as I live in a walkable neighborhood in one of the Twin Cities? Useless if it can’t operate in snow - not all sidewalks are equally cleared.

Or, you could just buy a super-tricked out stroller caddy for $5-$30 which has cup holders and a place for your phone. You might not be able to text and walk, but it does take care of the green juice.

JEALOUS.  They legit hold everything bulky out of the way.

My late mother was very fondly referred to as “Martha Stewart on speed” by one of my college roommates. (My brother noted this during his eulogy, and the entire church responded with very teary chuckle.) I graduated from her school of cooking and entertainment - maybe not her star pupil (that’s my sister) - but I know

A+++++

That was my thought as well. Just using crescent rolls instead of puff-pastry.

The etiquette I learned ages ago for tipping on takeout is pretty conditional.

It’s the “Thick and Chewy Triple-Chocolate Cookies” recipe from Cook’s Illustrated. (One of my friends, however, dubbed these the “Evilicious” cookies, and that name has stuck.) I will note that I always use espresso powder (and it tends to be a very heaping amount of espresso powder). Also, Dutch-process cocoa works

I have a triple-chocolate espresso cookie recipe I love - my nephew is approaching 30, but still asks me to bake him a batch on occasion for his birthday - but this looks like it has potential.  I do agree there might be a scootch too much butter - just from a chemistry standpoint - but I can’t consider it too

Honestly, I don’t get the fuss over their food. I tried it once recently when I was at the Mall of America, to see if I could understand why people were so passionate about it. (Yes, including the waffle fries.) It’s generally rated as a “good” CFA, so I don’t think the food standards were off from the norm.

I don’t

My family were regulars at a French restaurant in Northern Virginina. My parents went more often than the rest of us, but any special occasion dinner was generally held there.

St. Paul fist-bump. (I don’t get the St. Paul hate. I like to say that Minneapolis can’t stop telling you how cool it is, and St. Paul doesn’t care what you think and does its own damn thing. I prefer that vibe.)

Rainbow had great, low-cost staples and produce. It wasn’t necessarily the prettiest produce, but if you were looking for ingredients you were chopping up, they were awesome.

See I have been really unimpressed with Fresh Thyme. I went early on and the store I went to had horrible produce and the selection of staples wasn’t great.

I have to admit that when I am in Florida visiting relatives, Publix is the go-to grocery store. They can vary widely by location, but the prices are good and the selection is solid.

We took the Rabbie’s day tour - so Glengoyne in the morning, lunch at Loch Lomond, and the afternoon at Deanston. Our guide told us that one of the reasons Glengoyne was our first stop was because it was such a beautiful facility. When people thought of what a Scottish Highlands (barely ;) ) distillery would look

Oh, I hear you.  I like to joke with my PT’s either that I am a “Buffet of Musculoskeletal Issues” or “A Master Class in Cause & Effect.”  I take whatever mobility I can get.

See, I can get the Milk Chocolate ones, but not the dark ones.  However, I just found out there’s another British grocery store in my area that I didn’t know about, so maybe I can try my luck there.

Oh yeah, child-proof tops are the pits. And some tops are totally, unreasonably tight - I have a bunch of those grippy pads to help with those, and if it’s really bad, I have one of those wedge-shaped jar openers.

I’m curious - you ever go for the gin? I am not the hugest scotch fan - it just sort of overwhelms my nose before it ever hits my tongue - but holy bejeezus, did I enjoy all the gin I drank in Scotland. I wish I could tell you the brands I liked, but I have a really low alcohol tolerance and I didn’t write that stuff
