I guess I’m the weirdo that enjoyed Season 1 for multiple reasons - not just the sex scenes but also because of the goregous costumes and “Stately Manor/Castle” locations.

The National Cathedral is a great tour, and since it’s on one of the higher hills of the city, you can get some great pictures from the grounds.

I was eating at Five Guys when they were still a very small DC-based chain.

The original Jurassic Park was awesome.

When I want the accurate-to-the-source-material viewing, I go with the BBC adaptation.

I have noted multiple times on social media: if this show is nothing but Carrie Coons in the most outstanding costumes swooping in and out of rooms while seething magnificently?  It’s 1,000% worth my time.  I know everyone is oohing and aahing over Christine Baranski’s Dowager-like snips, but Coon is the total show

I once read an article about Pitt that noted he’s a character actor with a leading man’s face. That made so much sense, and you’re right - I think it works for Jude Law, too.

I know a lot of people that love to go see movies, and I don’t know a single one that has an ounce of enthusiasm for Avatar sequels.

Also...god, just bring back Brad Pitt for Fauci, because Kate’s Fauci isn’t that great. It’s like her Sessions without the crazy Southern accent, and that impression got really old in a very short time.

Kate goofing on motel sketch scene partner Eilish by ever-so-slowly poking her on the arm is as funny as the rest of the sketch, and shows the obvious affection from the staff that led to the singer being invited to host.

One of my favorite local restaurants is always swtiching up their cocktails.  I keep begging them to bring back the one with brown-butter-washed gin, squash shrub, and sage, but to no avail.  It was like autumn in a rocks glass.

I would like to note here that Tattersall Distilling makes many, many, many excellent spirits and mixers that are not Arby-themed. Their flagship vodka (corn-based, not potato-based), gin and aquavit are excellent.  

My parents are/were no strangers to tasting menus (Mom died about 10 years ago now, Dad is still with us).
