I seriously doubt that would be the case. The vast majority of console sales will come from casual gamers who don’t even know about PC mods and definitely don’t watch Youtube videos about them. That said, even if it was true, Rockstar makes money regardless of where you buy the game so they shouldn’t care if it sells

I’m sorry a PC owner stole your boy and/or girl. That must have been really painful. Luckily you have your console to cuddle at night.

They don’t really “innovate” on new features, so much as they innovate on services and quality-of-life. Things on Xbox work seamlessly and exactly how you’d expect them to work, without forcing you to jump through extra hoops, and not subject to weird “yes, but” restrictions.

Jeeze, it feels like the HD remake just came out and it was 12 years ago! Goodness. I’d be down to see a refresh on this.

“A view that you don’t share with Nick” is such a disingenuous way to put it that it’s borderline insane. Promoting fascist shit goes beyond “views I don’t agree with”.

*music starts playing* Steve

It’s a genre. It describes games that are like the fast-paced FPS games of the 90s. Dusk, Amid Evil, Boltgun, Prodeus, Turbo Overkill. All modern examples of the genre. But they’re in the vein of Doom, Quake, Unreal Tournament, Duke Nukem etc.

Like it or not, it’s as accepted as Metroidvania or Soulslike. And the games

Anything that’s a callback to 90s FPS. Pretty simple.

This is a super common descriptor. I don’t love it but it certainly wasn’t made up here.

In terms of WarioWare-likes, there’s a few on PC I really like:

Bizarrioware: WarioWare with a stoner aesthetic & some cool music.
Spookware: WarioWare meets Paper Mario, with a horror aesthetic (and some of the most adorable skeletons in gaming since Sans and Papyrus).
Portaboy: WarioWare meets horror FPS (?!), complete

I hate to complain but I was really hoping for an article about the game there. Obviously a big show like this is going to have a random arrangement of heighted people, so any VR game would have issues calibrating. I liked the Switch demo, but was really hoping for some insight into the Quest 2 version but seems like

This is hilariously off the mark.

Except that this comparison is apples and oranges. Kotaku articles are primarily text. LTT content is video. A footnote in a text article is substantially more likely to get noticed by a person that reads the article than a footnote in a video description or pinned comment will with a YouTube video.

Neither fix is easy. There’s no “getting rid” of A.I. It exists, and it’s here. It can’t be put back in the bottle. The best we’re going to get are unions fighting for protections into their contracts. And I’d be happily in favor of taxing the corporations, but taxes are still anathema to the GOP. Even if there was a b

The younger-than-me-but-somehow-still-boomers at Kotaku have discovered skibidi toilet. Pack it in zoomers/alphas, show’s over.

Man I need to get this. Waking up and hearing back my farts every morning is the kind of humour that will absolutely get me raring to go for the entire day. Skip breakfast, I’m feasting my ears on some good old farteroonies today.

Dunno about that lol. LotR: Gollum received loads of bad press, and the game completely bombed and the developers were disbanded and future projects cancelled.

Except that’s literally the opposite of how Diablo seasons work.
