You had me until you came after pixel art graphics. I’ll hear no more of this blasphemy
My favorite local multiplayer game is the Ouya classic Towerfall (thankfully now on PC, Switch, PS, and Xbox), which can be played PvP or co-op for up to 4 players. If you’re not familiar, it’s a single-screen platform battler made by the same dev behind Celeste. You’re given only 3 arrows to dispatch your foes,…

I’m curious as to how this will work... it’s a bit tricky to wrap my head around, and I suspect it’ll vary wildly depending on the title. I guess the best case scenario is that the game autosaves frequently so that it can post recent save data to the cloud (either at regular intervals, upon autosave, or upon…
Y’know what, I thought it was kinda dumb that the game had a backpack that was accessible over the shoulder (a la The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners) but didn’t have anything in the way of holsters or ammo/grenade pouches on your hips, instead offering those weird and somewhat cumbersome wrist pocket... portal...…
I have to disagree; the best VR games require you to constantly interact with things using your hands over button presses. Just look at The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners or Boneworks, for example. Those games are often lauded as two of the best VR games available, in no small part because they allow you to interact…
While the official answer would certainly have to be Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: ALttP on SNES (a game that I’ve played even more frequently since discovering the amazing Randomizer), I remember the Hoth level from Star Wars: Shadow of the Empire on N64 being a great comfort-food level when I was a wee lad. It was…
You guys are being oddly critical. Everybody knows that a decade old game will run on their PC. This list could easily be hundreds of games long if they included games from any generation, and Kotaku has already made a list of great classic PC games: https://thebests.kotaku.com/the-24-best-classic-pc-games-1722323022
You can always just visit Kotaku Core [https://kotaku.com/tag/kotaku-core] if you only want to read gaming-related articles. Given how much people whine about any non-gaming posts here, I’m surprised this isn’t more commonly known.
That’s quite paradoxical. How does one get experience if they never start?
Woah, $5-$10k?! Jesus, that’d be ridiculous! You’re well past the point of diminishing returns at that price range, and you’d just be adding parts for the sake of having the most top-of-the-line stuff... stuff that would have very little impact on the end performance.
I’m in Canada, so our parts are far more expensive…
It’s presently only available for Windows. You can download it via the following link: https://zerofiftyone.itch.io/evader
Wait a second... who are those characters? It looks like the SNES version, but there’s what looks like a bee character and... I dunno, some Barney-lookin’ thing.
It’s kinda funny how adamant you are that the guy’s incorrect while you yourself have it wrong.
“You will be able to purchase Adventures that are part of the current Standard format normally. Adventures that are not part of Standard will no longer be available for purchase. If you already own at least one wing of such an Adventure, you’ll have the option to unlock the remaining wings using in-game gold.”

Reminds me, in a way, of a game called Imscared: http://gamejolt.com/games/imscared…
The gameplay and graphics are on the simple side, but the way it kind of messes with you is interesting. I don’t want to say more for fear of spoiling it, but I’d definitely recommend giving it a try. It’s fairly short, but it has had…
