Ack, sorry to hear it dude. Incidentally, I went with a cheap pair of Turtle Beaches (they ran me about $40) and I've had them for two years without issue. I guess expensive doesn't always mean better... Either way, I'd expect they have some sort of warranty against wire fray. Worth checking into, for sure!

While I generally agree with what you're saying, I have a few objections. Firstly, and this is an admittedly small detail, they're technically not charging for the stats portal. Elite is a free-to-use addition to the series (though there are some perks if you do decide to pay for it, like early and guaranteed access

Ah, now I see it! Hahah awesome.

I can't really pick out number 4 =__=

Haha, I forgot all about that! I'm after doing that by accident a few times while attempting to revive a fallen teammate in the middle of a heated firefight. Always made me laugh.

"Gears is just action packed with action, sprinkled with action, and then lit with action candles so everyone can blow the shit out of the action with more action."

Completely agree. When you pull a flight stick back it makes the nose of the aircraft tilt upwards, why should it be any different on a controller?

I don't have anything worthwhile to say, but I do want to tell you that I find this comment to be hilarious. So I guess I could've just said, "LOL!" or something to that effect... oh well, what's done is done. Jolly good.

I'm kind of appalled at the general lack of taste and respect in some of the comments here. McWhertor has done a lot for this site, and I honestly let out a mental Darth Vader-style "NOOOOOO" when I saw the title to this article. You will be missed, good sir. All the best in your future.

Hahaha, thanks for reminding me of that. Best censorship ever.

Actually the default clock speed on a PSP is 222 Mhz, anything higher would be considered overclocking. The only games that did this with Sony's consent (to my knowledge) are the God of War games. I always kept mine overclocked, personally; once I saw how smooth some games could run (Grand Theft Auto, I'm looking at

But Left 4 Dead 2 wasn't free...

Bah, the whole "DLC is overpriced QQ" stuff is all relative. I'm sure some people consider $15 - $20 to be a waste of moneys for a handful of new maps, but obviously a lot of people don't. Those who belong to the former camp won't buy it, whereas the latter group will spend their hard-earned money and get the

Watch the PAX demo on Gametrailers if you haven't already; it confirms this and has some good footage to boot (including multiplayer!).

Thanks guys! Gonna have to give this a try sometime soon :B

It's funny that when I watch something like this it looks so simple, yet when I read any guides floating around online it always seems like there's a billion half-complicated steps.

What... the fuck.

Perhaps, if he planned on using it for business, he should have went with a business account that doesn't have a usage cap? Also, given that it's clear he lives with other people who seem to be gobbling up a substantial amount of bandwidth, he could have a separate account for himself. That's a much more expensive

All Comcast subscribers have a 250GB cap. Don't worry, it's not likely that you'll ever come close to that. There is, however, a usage meter that you can use to monitor your bandwidth if you feel so inclined. (I used to work for Comcast, sadly haha)
