OK, this is pretty effin' awesome. Enough so to warrant me checking out their discography, and I'm glad I did. I'm admittedly not too big a fan of the clean vocal sections towards the end of the song you posted, but they're decent enough to not be grating. Thanks for the new ear fodder! Love me a bit of prog-metal.

Completely agree with you. GTA4 is a masterpiece of game design, and it'd be hard to argue otherwise (even if you're not a fan of the changes made from the previous iterations). I'm currently playing through the main storyline again, and it continues to astound me how impressive and delightfully random it can be.

As the saying goes, those who have nothing useful to say say it the loudest. That's why there's a mute button.

This right here reminds me of why I was disappointed with the sequels for Assassin's Creed. I was hoping for a different feel with the second AC, and while they did technically pick a different time period and setting, it just felt samey. You were, for all intents and purposes, the same white-cloaked character running

The video isn't working for me either. Would you happen to have a link to share? Tried googlin'/youtubin' to no avail :B

Troll harder, boy!

They did? Considering the Wii U and 3DS both have motion controls, I'm not so sure.

It can be spelled either way, actually... though personally I think 'axe' looks better.

Exactly! Sometimes I turn it off for a second, only to find myself absentmindedly flicking it back up to full 3D again. I have Street Fighter 4 and Pilotwings, but this is the first game I've seen that really makes the 3D look amazing.

Uh, maybe you're not into the new-age, Western-developed action-RPGs? (That's a lot of hyphens right there.) Seriously, if you've tried all those games and didn't enjoy any of them, I think it's pretty obvious.

I remember that game! I also remember it being pretty hard.

For some reason this post doesn't show up for me. Just empty. I've been getting that a bit lately on Kotaku... no idea why. :/

I assumed they were referring to giving the people who preordered access to weapons and perks that people who didn't preorder the game had to unlock manually through the typical unlock system. Granted this is the only article I've read in the matter, so I could be wrong; they didn't explicitly say one way or the other.

Man, this game is looking like it'll be a pile of fun. I love that it's a cross between old-school SMB3-era gameplay and that of the newer 3D iterations. Looks sexy, too! Do want.

Well I'm in Canada and it shows available until July 7th. I highly doubt the US has it any different.

Woah, really? The idea that someone has no idea how to play Excitebike baffles me. I guess it is a little weird... you have one button for gas, the other for turbo. Turbo will overheat your bike if you use it too often. Try to finish the level quickly. That's really all there is to it.

Uh, it's available for free for a month. Until July 7th, to be exact. Not sure what Return Merchandise Authorization has to do with it, so can't help you there. :P

I'd be happy (perhaps moreso) with a Castlevania game in line with the DS-style ones. They're pretty much Metroid games anyway, but with a gothic setting! Therefore, awesome. XD
