My take on this subject (it has bothered me as well) is that the characters of the cars are meant to represent the personalities of the people that drive them, in much the same way that many people see their own cars as a face that they present to the world.

Technically perhaps, but I prefer my version

Ghostbusters has my all-time favorite non-expletive profanity: "Mother Puss Bucket". Wonder what they'll change that to.

In my opinion, there's a big difference between what I actively watch and what I just "have on". That said, Lord help me…

Frisky Dingo

That is one seriously pudgy dachsund

Here in MD you'll actually see it mostly used (after seafood) on fries. I'm not particularly crazy about it myself but it certainly has a distinct flavor.

It does not.

Here's a question for ya..

Full disclosure:

It may be a tremendously unpopular opinion (at least among film critics) but I think Sorceror is much better than Wages of Fear.

"but this is clearly a fun show to about which to speculate"

About once a year I find myself deciding to watch Dune again just to see if I can discern some hidden value. It's David Lynch, he must have had some idea what he was doing!

Still, I was hoping for more out of this (style-wise at least) than what we got. To me it looks, sounds and feels to me exactly like any other cold-case detective series or special on Discovery, History, TLC, what-have-you.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot

I'd be ok with this if it meant I could actually watch all of that sport instead of, as an example, paying MLB to watch all the MLB games except the ones I actually want to see due to blackout cable deals.

I personally love Joe Vs The Volcano. But it is so rare to have anyone actually get it when I answer "How are you?" with a wave of my hand over my head before saying, very casually, "Brain Cloud".

Also.. he's not the alleged rapist. So - not guilty of that. VERY guilty of poor judgement in many ways.

plus there's the added benefit of keeping people who WANT to watch Adam Sandler movies off the streets for at least 90 minutes

Hey now.. let's not jump to conclusions.
