I agree! In addition to the Falcons series there is the epic Story of the Mariners: “This story begins the only it could have begun, with 140 acts of arson”

I’d probably replace Air Bud with Necessary Roughness, which is about the same level of dumb fun without me worrying the dog is gonna get stepped on by some 300lb lineman. And I’d definitely put The Longest Yard (the 70s original) in there somewhere.

I thought the answer was lots and lots of glitter
Tell ya what Jeff (and Elon and Richard). You go first. Head on up there and stay. We’ll let you know when you can visit.
I thought it was a picture of Kelsey Grammer at first
In addition, Gough actually calls them “victims” himself:
Yep, jumped down here to make sure Excitable Boy got a mention. I mean, c’mon: “he dug up her grave and built a cage with her bones.”
Not a Beatles song but I thought (for quite a while) “perfecting ways of making sealing wax” from the Rolling Stones’ 19th Nervous Breakdown was “perfecting ways of making ceiling wax”. For the life of me I couldn’t figure out why anyone would wax their ceiling.
It also left us with the greatest life advice possible: “Never follow a hippie to a second location.”
Isn’t like literally everything quantum in nature? Even the things that don’t exist but could have? Maybe that’s what they mean.

ok, one more dip in the pool.
Hold on a sec, just gotta make a journal entry:
He may be a total goober in almost every way but I will give him this: Elon Musk is a helluva carnival barker. Damned if people don’t “step right up and see” no matter how ridiculous the patter.
Yep, I agree with that. Holmes and Balwani both deserve to serve time for the danger in which they knowingly and willingly placed patients. You would certainly expect that to happen to a doctor who gave results he or she did not trust to someone in their care without revealing that information.
I certainly have no love for Elizabeth Holmes but I think that may be a bit of a harsh statement, especially if taken to mean the whole company. Aside from the top “management” it seems like most of the people working there really did want to improve and simplify diagnostic testing. And Holmes appeared to mostly be…
