As a student of international criminal justice, I will be forever sad at this completely missed opportunity to be better than the terrorist. What a trial this could have been! What a precedent for future generations. But alas.

Sooooooo the CIA is now in the business of bragging and publicly fishing for compliments for doing their fucking job? I’ve known 14 year old boys playing Call of Duty with more tact and common sense.

I know what you mean. Some threads just bring out the worst in people. It’s like being back at university with the teacher’s pet who wants to put everyone down who disagrees with them. So tiresome.

Fucking disgusting.

Actually, yes, I hadn’t noted that this was a woman, just a professor. In my experience it’s men who feel so entitled that they whine about not getting everything they want, exactly the way they want it, and, if anything, I guess I assumed it was a man who would complain about what phrases students do or don’t use

about 5 pounds..... (cymbal crash)

it’s like a henway....

That’s how I perceive that phrase. You’re not imposing your view, you’re offering it up to open the discussion. Not sure what that professor is whining about anyways; in term papers and everything you submit formally, you have to back up your text with references, so that phrase can only be used during class

Especially in this universe, where any kind of magic use seems to come with a nasty price.

Rather than condemn millennials—and those, shall we say, contaminated by them—for shirking “responsibility” through discourse, let’s acknowledge our more pressing duty: to stop policing speech, and instead welcome the voices clamoring to be heard.

If it helps, a few of us may be staring because internally we’re squeeing. :-)

That’s weird... I’m married to someone of a different race and no one “stares” because of it.. maybe we’re in a liberal city, or maybe they’re just staring at you two because you’re so damn beautiful together.

For the non-chemical crowd, there are teas that are sometimes interesting as well.

:)
I figured most likely, but it was the easy joke.

Can they be non-religious prayers?

Insomnia’s a stone cold gansgta. :( I hear ya.
There’s a slew of crazy Yogi tea’s which are sometime helpful.

As well as excercising ‘till you just drop (not *DEAD*, just like ASLEEP).

I am not a (medical) doctor and you should seek the advice of an appropriate trained professional before taking my suggestion, but when I had severe insomnia, trazodone worked wonders. I used it to great success after a failed run with Ambien, which basically just gave me horrible half-waking nightmares.

Melatonin is an initiator of sleep and works well for those with difficulty in falling asleep. It doesn't work for maintenance insomnia (when you wake up in the middle of the night), which I have. It sucks balls.

....I concede she was boss too but I still give Michelle the edge

FURTHER MORE, I have not slept. I will never sleep. Insomnia has taken my brain and replaced it with wasps.
