This woman is a GOOD politician. She turned the whole thing to her advantage, made the cop look good and professional (so she’s got an in with the police vote) and made sure the people in the neighborhood who DIDN’T call the cops think of her as classy, cool, and collected.

This whole situation is insulting, but one of the insulting parts of every one of these stories is that, not only do they think black people are all crooks, but they think all black people are bad crooks.

Meanwhile, these same self-appointed neighborhood watch losers continue to get robbed blind by people they know. If there’s one characteristic that I would appoint to practically all white people is the inability to do proper risk assessment.

That is true for so many things. People try to apply “one or the other” reasoning when there is no point. You can love the car and hate the company. You can love the company and hate the product. They are not mutually exclusive. Just like many things in life.
