This is what happens when you tie your sense of self to your media consumption choices. It’s not good folks.
No but it makes it easier if you have someone to play with. Honestly for me, the fun was in sailing around with my friends and occasionally fighting/running from other players. Playing shanties while watching the sunset and getting so drunk your guy falls off the ship can be fun too. The quests at the time became…
No, you can play alone but it’s much more fun with friends. At least people from the discord server. I wouldn’t play with randoms.
I recommend using Xbox’s built in LFG (looking for group) feature to find a crew of like minded players. You can set your preferences for requiring to have a mic, find a group that doesn’t mind teaching you what to do, etc. I’ve had some great success with it
You have a choice of either solo slooping, grouping up with friends, or grouping up with randos! Sometimes you get great groups and other times you have people looking at each other’s hairstyles. That part is luck of the draw. Personally, I solo sloop when I want to relax and up my reputation, and when my brothers are…
You could start in a sloop with a closed crew (so no one can join you). It’s very possible to sail a sloop on your own, but you should probably check out some online resources before doing so, so you know what you’re doing.
We’re old and because of that we have wisdom in place of the whinyness that everyone has developed in 2017/2018.
No, you’ve got it right.
The local Perkins/Sit Down family restaurant has a coloring contest for children every month. The winner gets a free Beverage. Does Perkins now have to give away free beverages to all entrants?
No, because even the children know that not everyone wins.
I must be getting old because I remember when companies would run contests like this with the idea that your submission MIGHT make it into the game/show/book/whatever. And IF it did, you were just happy to have something you could brag to your friends about.
What you’ve just overcome is the sunk cost fallacy. I always love hearing stories about that because beating the sunk cost fallacy is a modern struggle worthy of Greek Epics :)
Our first real look at Fire Emblem: Three Houses, which is coming to Switch next year, shows all the classic…
I’ll give you a reason: Game Pass. I’ve had Game Pass for 2 months and I’ve already got my money’s worth for a full year with Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2, and ReCore. Tons of the stuff announced/shown today is coming to Game Pass on launch day. I’m almost concerned because I don’t see how MS makes money from me…
They need to realize that gamers are adults now too. ;p
Yah... Like, I’ve never had that many ‘gaming friends’, and I honestly don’t have much of a desire to make any, either? I like playing games alone; that’s why I’ve been a BioWare fan since I was, like, nine.
Heh, Bioware assuming I’ve got friends-Hey let me finish! Friends who play the same games as I do and specially at the same time I do.
There’s also all this, from Game Informer:
Mergos loft:middle lantern. If you follow the normal path, take out the assassins and then the 3 piggies you can net over 100k/run with the highest moon rune equipped.
Shit man, I’m in the exact same place. I only started playing it in early May, got crazy addicted, and stopped about a week ago because the frenzy was freaking me the hell out.
Yeah Mensis is the last area. You have roughly 2 required bosses to go before you make your final choices.
