I’ve enjoyed my Vita and am glad I own one, but it never supplanted the 3Ds for me. I feel that Sony never really figured out why people like Nintendo’s handhelds as much as they do; I mean, Sony threw everything and the kitchen sink into the design of the Vita, but the one thing they couldn’t quite capture was

I haven’t seen the reddit post, no. I do hope the game isn’t dropped! For what it’s worth, I’m not ashamed at all to admit that I’ve played this a LOT more than I’ve played Battlefield 1. BF1 may be a better technical shooter, but from my point of view the fun factor is much, much lower. If we ever get a Bad Company 3

In all fairness, probably not any worse than any other shooter with a progression system. I do say “probably” as I’m not really an FPS enthusiast, so I may just be making stuff up here.

Right now it’s just in custom arcade (which is still incredibly fun) but I’m hoping they add actual arcade battle scenarios for starfighters at some point.

Every once in a while I encounter a guy in Galactic Assault who’s got the timing with Palpatine just right, with the jumping and electricity. He’s just bouncing everywhere and electrocuting everyone in a wide radius before you can get a bead on him. Definitely not the way Palpatine is “meant” to be played, but that

I think the game has actually been pretty great lately, especially after the revamped progression system. And Starfighter Arcade has been pure bliss; I’ve especially been enjoying being able to spend more time in all the different hero ships.

I guess I was sort of a member of the Vita community for a while. I’m having trouble reconciling the notion that I’m glad I’ve got one with the fact that it’s been sitting in a drawer untouched pretty much since March, 2017. Anyways, I do like owning a Vita, but I’m not sure if I can articulate exactly why that is at

Gotta go BACK IN TIIIIIIIIME

If I owned an XBox One, I wouldn’t even know who to gift a game to at this point. None of my old XB360 crowd (all friends in real life and online) stayed for this gen, and I’m not about to buy games for people I don’t even actually know. Wish I could say I was just being snarky, but there it is. Well, for those of you

This person gets it.

In all fairness, Battlefront 2 rectified its biggest stupid decisions before launch. Unless you’re the type to hold a grudge, the game has been pretty fun since Day 1. I think that D2 has no excuse for itself when considering all the institutional knowledge Bungie accumulated from the D1 experience. Hard to believe

The compulsion that allowed me to put hundreds upon hundreds of hours into D1 really is gone. Played a month of D2 at launch, and a couple of days last month, and there’s just no sense of satisfaction or even genuine fun anymore. I used to get excited at news of upcoming content; now that news just serves as a

Watch for the Double XP weekends. I was able to get my bomber from lvl 5 nearly up to purple over the weekend. Once you start getting better cards it does get easier to accumulate battle points. But yeah, totally looking forward to the star fighter stages being added to arcade!

Nice! I just now looked at the announcement on EA’s page. Really looking forward to it. Thanks for the tip!

Maybe not an extremely ambitious update, but I’ll take it. The game has been fun for me since the beginning and honestly, Starfighter Assault alone is worth the (sale) price of admission. Would love to see starfighter stages in Arcade.

I’m seeing a lot of:

Yeah I went back and edited it. It paid off in Poe’s mind, for better or for worse I guess.

“You think the average stormtrooper knows how to install a toilet main?”

Wouldn’t change a single frame of that. Just perfect.

That’s it. Poe is the Starbuck archetype: hotshot pilot who lives outside the box, and thinks the chain of command is to be sidestepped whenever it becomes a nuisance. The first time Poe turned off his comms the risk paid off (sort of), and the second time it didn’t. That was a real character doing real stuff.
