Not only that, but I argue that the casino scene made perfect sense in that it was a direct result of Poe Dameron’s reckless assertion that he knew best, and that he didn’t have to follow the chain of command if it didn’t suit him. Poe was a real character who got a lot of people into the shit due to his own hubris.
