The economy is actually really, really good by any objective measurement. Any belief otherwise is based on vibes, not data.

The only thing that would really help is if it made Remote Play much more seamless, especially in conjunction with the Portal. However, that’s more a software issue, not hardware, so it would also be shitty if you had to buy an entirely new PS5 just to use basic Remote Play functionality.

Yeah, you wouldn’t want to support black and brown capitalism; that might lead to tangible quality of life improvements!

California voters, sowing regulations: “Haha, fuck yeah!!! Yes!!!”

Hell my E46 sedan might as well be a tin can coffin compared to a base-spec Sentra.

I don’t think this truck will be any more or less dangerous than any other similarly-sized truck. The minimal “give” on the stamped-steel hood of an F-150 is not saving any more lives compared to a stainless steel Cybertruck hood.

Yes, Black small-business owners who own and run dispensaries.

Sure, don’t listen to the Black and minority business owners who are being hurt by illegal marijuana sellers, I guess. The byzantine government regulations and permitting and grotesquely high business taxes are strangling the legal market. The solution is, of course, neo-liberal free-market principles like permitting

I think this is a neat project.

I’m 100% on-board with legal weed. But weed has been legal for a long time in California and people still sell it illegally, which negates the benefits of making it legal (more tax revenue and less crime). So illegally selling weed is still an important crime to deter even where weed can be sold legally.

GM’s big bet to build out its own battery plants before pushing EVs to market will seemingly pay off, with a $7,500 price incentive over Ford. Impressive.

He accidentally stomped on the gas pedal in an 800 hp, 7,000 lb car. It’s pretty obvious how this happened.

Selling weed illegally is a crime and a big impediment to a legal weed industry. It’s the same as bootlegging whiskey or selling knock-off pharmaceuticals.

LMAO solidarity is a bitch. Make a deal or leave western Europe.

Jalopnik and other outlets have written a lot about how EV demand is slowing, but as it turns out, the data just doesn’t support that line of thinking... yet.”

It’s small, but I love the ad for a pharmaceutical in the background that advertised “It Cures Emotions!!

You draw a pretty straight line from Kissinger’s decisions to the deaths of 3 million people, yeah. Pretty shocking.

100 million is excessive, but the amount of people directly killed by his decisions is enough to warrant being called a war criminal.

I’m usually reflexively skeptical of over-the-top, virtue signaling, edge-lord political name calling, but in this case, Kissinger absolutely deserves to be called a war criminal.

Oh shit, I never considered I can waste company time watching other people play video games at work!
