Well there haven’t been any wars started by Germany or Japan or Italy since WWII. If you want to talk about the post-war cold war with Russia, well, that was caused by stopping at Berlin and not continuing east to Moscow.

Hamas is a terrorist organization, but to the extent it considers itself a legitimate government and state, its use of hospitals as military bases is the most grotesque, shameless, inhumane abuses of the Geneva Convention imaginable.

It isn’t a competition. Unlike Hamas, Israel is not engaged in some sort of medieval blood feud where the number of civilians dead kept like a score-card. They have a legitimate military goal, and their counter-offensive will end when that goal is met.

I agree: its amazing how much more sense Israel's reactions make when you view them in context, like say, 1,400 people being slaughtered by a raid of terrorists who then fled back into the civilian population and publicity proclaimed they would keep doing the same thing until every jew was dead.

Your comparison to the Russia conflict is ironic, considering Russia and Hamas were both the aggressors.

Israel simply isn’t proving a population whose stated goal is the eradication of jews their own water, food, and power. Might as well as the Soviet Union why it didn’t supply Nazi Germany with water, fuel, and food; they were at war!

They were all pro-EVs when GM and Ford were dragging their feet; now “Big Business” is getting behind EVs, so of course Jalopnik needs to tell you why this good development is actually bad (because someone might make a profit in the process of saving the planet!)
