You’re not wrong; you can see it in zillow ads. Prices haven’t fallen nearly enough to compensate for the buyer’s added monthly expense due to rising interest rates. But I think sellers will have to adjust accordingly sooner rather than later.

This is great data, but its also important to note that other house-hold expense have gone way, way down since the 1970s, especially food. So people have “more” income to spend on housing.

TL;DR - Interest rates go up, buying power stays the same, therefore purchase prices have to go down.

The 2008 crash happened because (1) it was too easy to get a loan, and (2) there were too many houses.

California’s grid will be fine during the time when most people charge, that is, at night. Think of heat-waves as just like a snow-storm in the North East; you prepare for it, listen to the utility, you might lose power for a few hours one or two days a year, and that’s it. 

The argument is though that you can keep using your education to make money. Imagine going to law school, racking up $250,000 in debt, defaulting, and then just working as a lawyer making $300k a year. 

There literally is no other way for Biden to forgive student loan debt, so I’m not sure why people are blaming him for doing everything in his power to forgive it. 

He absolutely would not have. He’d have made fun of her for being a pot head and “smuggling drugs” into Russia, then be like “don’t you wish we could do that here, folks? Just lock ‘em up? Make ‘em work? But the DEMOCRATS won’t let us, sad, sad. So let her sit in Russia!”

Being “wrongfully detained” implies that the detention is not legally justified. This detention was, under Russia law. 

How/why is this not at least a mild-hybrid at this point? If you’re going to take a manual, at least add a hybrid system. One or the other. 

You’re thinking bankruptcy. I guess that’s a form of forgiveness, but you can’t repossess an education. 

This program is funded by tax dollars, which are all taken from anyone who pays taxes. A dollar spent on student debt relief is a dollar not spent on something else. How do you not understand that?

They knew, and they knew they had no control over how the court ruled. Without a spending bill that discharged the loans, there was nothing the Biden executive branch could have done that wouldn’t get challenged.
