Yes, it's all about choice here to be in the eco system or not. I started ripping my own dvd's a long time ago to keep a digital backup. I converted them all into iTunes compatible videos and then loaded them up. Now I have my entire dvd library at my fingertips with an Apple TV (both first gen and second gen).

I have to believe time will help this....... Remember dial up where you were paying per minute of internet access.............. be patient, one day your dream will come true..... one day.
