That’s terrible. Right now, I’m caring for my mom, 70, who has Alzheimer’s. I watched both of my grandmother’s go through it. I feel terrible for Gena’s family and wish the greatest amounts of patience for them. It takes so much patience, living with someone suffering through this. I never knew I had this much

What an immense talent. Her performance in A Woman Under the Influence is an all-timer.

Damn, the dark jokes write themselves but as someone who has seen relatives experience Alzheimer's/dementia (and am very worried I'll get it down the road), I know the whole situation is just turbo-fucked and I'm so sorry for her. I wish her family the best dealing with it.

You could say the same thing about trump supporters.  America loves an underdog, so when they love someone, they have to turn them into an underdog.

When you become the butt of your own joke.

If we’re talking staff, let’s get Will Harris on Random Roles again

Heard.

I don’t have a song selection in mind (I mean... “Tubthumping” got done already).  But hey, if y’all are hiring, toss Nathan Rabin an assignment or two.

So I guess now Schneider can immediately start the old “I was canceled” self-pity routine which will endure him further to the Fox News set.

You know how I can tell you are not into comics?

It’s not that he isn’t talented or clever: he’s both. But even in rap, where wordplay counts for a whole lot, it’s usually the singer, not the song. Eminem can write and do verbal gymnastics like few others, but so what? I find his delivery too nasal and too sharp by half: the dude can’t seem to be anything but

he still holds a lot of cachet with creaky edgelords who conflate speed with skill when it comes to rap

Eminem has been shit for way longer than he has been great. He had a stellar run of albums in the late 90s and early 2000s. And now he continues to dump on his legacy with every new release. This has nothing to do with his politics, it’s just obvious that he’s tired and has nothing to say anymore.

Max has been a supporting character through most of the films. Mad Max 2 is more about Pappagallo survivors. Beyond Thunderdome focuses more on Aunty Entity and the tribal children. Max is just sort of there.

Dabney Coleman didn’t have much range, but he had a great deal of depth.

I was just going to say, I don’t think I’ve ever seen any story involving this woman which hasn’t been about her claiming something horrible happened to her behind the scenes.

I feel so bad for Charlyne Yi. She seems to get abused on every project she works on.

Yeah, the allegations that he’s choosing to use an old school/analogue way of making a film rather than a quicker digital shortcut...is that supposed to upset me?

With regards the kissing - if people say it was inappropriate, I’ll believe them.

The wrong keed died.
