Just because a show doesn’t go full Game-of-Thrones on its cast, doesn’t make the writers “cowards”. It’s just a different genre of TV.

I do kind of wish the love triangle had been resolved in this season, but given how overstuffed it was already I think it was probably better to save it (having her break up or stay with Jonathan when they would have had at best a two-minute scene together at the end wouldn’t have been satisfying.)
I will say that…
cause she looks deathly thin
I find it really weird that anyone would put Billy in a list with Barb, Bob, and Eddie. Alexei was the Season Three representative for that list. Billy belongs with Jason, not the sympathetic characters.
Yeah, I was disappointed the Satanic Panic storyline went nowhere really. A bunch of holier than thou people foil the kid’s plan to stop Vecna and bring hell to their little town? Woulda been perfect.
Do you really think they’ll kill anyone important after the fakeouts and fundamental cowardice of the writers this season? I guess it’s more likely to happen in the final season, if ever.
Yeah she should have much better than either the dude who was cool in high school and still hangs around doing nothing or the stoner guy making nothing of himself long distance relationship.
He was an actor in a situation comedy TV series.
Honestly, that’s for the best. If the people behind Episode 9 would have any “personal high standards”, other than doing very little to try to please a especific audience that’s known for being hard to please, then maybe we would have had a better movie that what we got. Or have no movie at all, also a good option.…
He was a great character who surprised me by being a nerd but also a metal head but also a really good guy—subverting all sorts of tropes I’ve had paraded in front of my in pop culture for decades.
The dark side of his comedy was that it wasn’t funny. Then he died.
I wonder. I’d still probably describe a collection of Barbie-branded dolls as “Barbies” even if each were a different character, so to a certain extent it’d make sense to call the whole cast of doll-people Barbies even if they aren’t all Barbie.
Gets even better. He had to be intentional, right? Either way, it’s hilarious.
She also needs to eat a sandwich.
And you just know he’s going to play Chewbacca’s mother.
This just in, director does not want to tell notoriously reactionary fanbase his idea for a movie in said franchise.
This was one of my biggest gripes with this season. If you want to break up Jonathan and Nancy fine. If you want Steve to find love again fine. But don’t have them breakup only for Nancy to go back to Steve. Even in small town America in the 80s, people don’t go back to their highschool sweethearts like this. The…
Nancy is IMO the best character on the show, love her combination of toughness & vulnerability. She 100% should not settle down with either of those dudes, particularly at her age
And as is often the case with real life couples, their onscreen chemistry is negligible
I believe she’s dating Charlie Heaton (Jonathan) in real life
