Amen to that! Even in native spirituality we have what we call born-again Indians who just love to tell other natives how to be real Indians. People who were born into faiths/traditions tend to be more relaxed but new converts are cray-cray!

Honestly, I find that some of the most bigoted and hypocritical Christians tend to be 'newer' ones that were hellions earlier in life. I think that once they've latched onto Christianity they feel like they have to make up for lost time or something by being extreme in all they're views.
