I’ve worked in a family shelter. Lots and lots of children live in shelters because our country refuses to adopt policies that support families, children, the working class in general.

I’m sure it has nothing to do with internalized sexism. Just like how women are criticized for every vocal trait imaginable—saying “like” too much, upspeak, vocal fry—while men who exhibit the very same traits (and in comparable numbers, too) just somehow never get criticized.
