The problem is buying all those followers again
The problem is buying all those followers again
If you make your living via Instagram and YouTube and your account got deleted for reasons you couldn’t control - aka NOT hate speech - you’d be perfectly entitled to outrage. Activist accounts, from BLM-associated accounts, trans-positive accounts, feminist accounts to accounts that are targeted by mass bogus…
I mean, having her account hijacked could at least be cyber bullying, which is an offence. This is...she violated the terms and conditions of a platform, so they kicked her off, as they are permitted to do. Cry me a river, girl.
After I spent all my money, I didn’t have it anymore!
Meh. I have no interest in social media Influencers, but I don’t agree it isn’t “real” work. They hustle for sponsors and followers, produce new content on a regular basis, plan campaigns, keep ahead (or at least abreast) of trends, curate their image, deal with trolls and PR, and legalities like paying tax. That’s…
Could you? Could you really understand the outrage then?
I still could not. And I had a fifteen year old gaming account hijacked a few weeks ago. It felt shitty but I still didn’t feel like I had been murdered, nor did I involve the police. (I recovered it btw, woooooo.)
The fact that people like her can amass followers and attract paying sponsors makes me sad, depressed and more terrified than usual.
If I scream DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT! at such people, is it tantamount to terrorist threats?
So instagram deleted her account because of hate speech and she’s blaming the people that turned her in. She basically got fired from her job because she was hateful. Awww, so sad :(( lol
If her account had been hijacked I could understand the outrage.
At least she seems to be admitting that being an influencer isn’t real work. That’s a step in the right direction. I look forward to her YouTube account being removed just to see if she compares it to desecration of a corpse.
“I bring nothing to the table...I’m not work material. I will never be work material.”
I called the cops on Deadspin when they banned me way back when, and the police just told me that I was actually in a Wendy’s so I got a baconator and everything was fine.
a mercy killing, it would appear.
Everything happens for a reason. My boyfriend from high school and college was Jewish and told me his mother would never *allow* him to marry a non-Jewish girl (me). His mother also told him he had to be either a doctor or lawyer (he’s a dentist). We broke up after college. I was devastated. I started dating a good…
Also fuck him for “reaching out” when his wife, with whom he has a child / children, was probably sitting in the next room, doing some unpaid emotional and physical labor on his behalf, while he decides to stroke his ego by seeing if he “still got it” texting an ex-girlfriend... I hate everyone, so take my words with…
I thought a lot about the children and how it would be miserable for them too.
Those ‘potential’ disapproving in-laws would have made your (and your kids) miserable. The ex showed you who he was, and now he’s creeping, showing you proof again: he was not a good man. You deserve better.
Please please please don’t be sad. YOU DODGED A BULLET. Calling you now (while married!) is just plain selfish and manipulative.
Very annoying to have an ex come out of the blue with “If only I had...” Like they looking for you to pat them on the head and tell them it’s ok.
Not only is he missing a spine, he’s the kind of guy who looks up his ex when he hits the 7 year itch.
