Arguably, Trixie fits the bill.
Arguably, Trixie fits the bill.
I also just felt like MY BIG CHEESY GRIN doesn’t really sell the song. That felt like what was wrong with her Jennifer Holiday as well. It was just BIG.
Yah Aiden is honestly fine, just doesn’t have the confidence or experience, but she had to go either this or next week. Brita has the experience and still sucks.
In the book, it was more of just a kiss and less of a sexual assault. There was more build-up to it, as well. Wylie honestly thought that Claire was flirting with him and expected his kiss to be welcome. He’s more of an idiot than an actual rapist. Naturally, though, the show had to make it worse. The show makes…
They’re getting the unedited versions in other countries like AUS and UK and from what we’ve heard, they actually cut out more of Brita and Sherry criticizing Aiden.
I feel like Crystal and Aiden both got passes this episode? Crying on the runway often leads to gentler judging, but even still. I didn’t think either bottom contestant improved any worse than those two, and their runways were arguably more polished.
This was exactly my question as well. What do they pick and choose from the cutting-room floor, and how does that change the ultimate narrative arc of the season?
That’s something to consider. The hasty cutting around SP definitely changes the narrative.
Any adult with an ounce of emotional maturity should be able to say ‘sorry, no.’ He wouldn’t even have to say it was because of a specific person, just that he’s still working through his feelings for each and doesn’t think it’s appropriate.
According to the spoilers online, Sherry makes top 4.
I believe the Master calls them “glitches of Ireland” or something, which I mostly remember because I thought it was a jarring thing for him to say.
In fairness, they seem to be fairly supportive of the BDSM community what with their Goofy/Pluto portrayal
Totally. I remember that topic coming up on these boards in those first episodes of hers; I can see that having an American accent is realistic as well, but anything that could help this poor actor would have been welcome! I just find it really hard to believe they couldn’t find an actual American to play the role if…
His message is squarely aimed at elderly white people. Gone with the Wind is iconic particularly with that demographic. The dog whistle is lagniappe.
Dog whistle? That's a fuckin fog horn.
I always enjoy your book-perspective contributions to this board! As a non-book reader, it helps. :)
Yeah that's the only one I've seen but it was horrible. I couldn't believe what I was watching. That dude was such an asshole.
‘The biggest difference is that that episode let Peyton be front and center only so much’
My junior year of college, we had a faulty fire alarm that went off for no reason so often that we had dorm hoodies made that listed us as “Fire Drill Survivors.” In the warmer parts of autumn and spring, it wasn’t so bad. In the middle of January, when the temperatures were routinely in the negatives with a few feet…
I was in a hotel for a work trip for most of November, and after the third time the fire alarm went off we just ignored it (I did hassle the front desk staff because the alarm never rang in my room, but I could hear it -barely- through my door).
