If he said that, I’d be on board. I suspect that WBD told him they didn’t want a colon title that might sound like a sequel.
I have zero problem with that context. I’m taking issue with Gunn acting like it was a huge revelation at the end of writing as opposed to WBD likely saying “Hey, we want it to be clear this is the first and not a sequel.”
The first thing that pops into my head when Richard Lewis is mentioned is him saying “It’s a good change. That’s a good change.”
I love James Gunn.
The same title as the previous film doesn’t bother me. It’s inevitable and I don’t remember anyone especially caring that Batman (‘89) and Batman (‘66) were the same.
To be clear, I’m not saying *good* performance art.
1991 to 2024 is a decent chunk of time not to remake a movie.
Genuine mistake. I can’t edit the post now, but I apologize for the error.
Surely, this was intentional? I assume a group called “House of Illuminati” might have been trying to do something here. Maybe I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt, but even stuff like being like “here is your one jellybean” seems purposeful as opposed to just a scam.
I actually don’t think Griff, Dorne or Lady Stoneheart will ultimately have any bearing on the conclusion to be perfectly honest, but I also doubt we’re ever getting the books so we may never know.
Could it be about her Pro-Palestinian posts? Maybe. Could it be the fact that people hated the character and last season people kept saying “why is Che still on the show?” Probably more likely.
Absolutely. I appreciate the podcast a lot to be honest. I think they are very honest and frank. It’s been very eye-opening.
There are plenty of issues with the final season of GoT, but anyone who thinks that the broadstrokes weren’t exactly what GRRM was always planning, you are kidding yourself.
Given Secret Wars was always coming after Kang Dynasty and the rumor has been for literal years that it will involve the Fox verse, this seems less like a reset than a planned conclusion.
A compliment that came after several sentences about how she just wasn’t as big of a deal as other people.
It really does:
I mentioned this in my own comment, but it’s believed the reason they are talking about this is that it is going to be brought up in Quiet on the Set and the rumors make it sound like the filmmakers are minimally side-eying those who supported them even though they were also largely minors and very young adults.
The most depressing thing about their podcast is that you have a cast of kids who came through seemingly relatively unscathed and then you realize just how much trauma they were put through. There’s a rumor that they are going to get dragged on Quiet on the Set for having supported Peck. I really hope that those…
People should remind Pizzolatto that he also made the second season of True Detective...
