There’s also a difference between thinking someone deserves general respect and not thinking she’s a great value add to the movie. Honestly, if Amber Heard was feeling like Momoa was personally attacking her or acting in a way that was triggering to her (i.e. “dressing like Johnny.”), it’s also possible being in the

Rationalize their positions to who? Nobody can overrule them, nobody can fire them, nobody can do anything to stop them from doing whatever they want.

I’m not convinced you watched the movie.

You keep using the word “single” in contexts where it is not applicable.

Spike through the head Phineas Gage style and it’s still in.

You having not heard of media that does something doesn’t change that it exists. Oppenheimer happened to do very well so there is inevitable backlash, but if you actually care about the issue - Go watch one of those or read the related books. I had to read Sadako in school, so many get exposure to it that way.

I guess years of Frasier and Lilith controlling his life finally caught up to him/them and he decided enough was enough.

Which I would accept if Freddy hadn’t already gone through a goth phase on Frasier because he was trying to impress someone and learned a valuable lesson about wanting to stay in his lane lol

Freddy on Frasier also wasn’t a little kid when Frasier ended - He was 16 years old when the show ended. You can make the case he found himself and got in shape, but he wouldn’t be a rube. He would still go toe to toe with Frasier in quoting psychology etc. which could be fun, but isn’t what they seem to be doing.

There is.

You can’t think of a single thing?

It was just a random Japanese movie - It’s one specifically about the event and the fallout. It’s a 1:1 comparison on the same topic.

To me that would be out of place in a movie that is effectively a biopic of one person who already articulated the concerns. He’s totally entitled to that opinion, but would we expect a movie told from the Japanese perspective to also showcase the other side as well?

In this instance the total number of view points being brought up are Oppenheimer’s and the Japanese. Ergo - every point of view. But my larger point is that asking movies to embody every POV on a story is untenable. As someone else commented - we don’t demand that Grave of the Fireflies devote time to the US point of

I don’t know that every movie is required to address every angle of every single event.

It was the nature of the comparison I’m sure, but (as I’m sure was the original posters point) it put P!nk in an unwinnable position where they were clearly trying to be mean and the only way to call that out was to say that the trans woman in the conversation was ugly in calling the comment hateful.

Same, I think it makes total sense.

Why would actors want residuals when they could have something real?

It also sounds like he’d be happy to host, but Comedy Central seems to have wanted it to be Minhaj. Likely the only reason that hasn’t been announced is because of the recent lying and toxicity allegations leading to second guessing that one. I’m sure Wood is partly of the mindset of put up or shut up when it comes to

I’m really not looking for a lecture.
