I thought he had entered (successful) treatment at 20 for his drug issues and had been in therapy ever since all before he won that weird modeling competition he did in 1998?

And in those cases actors and writers would have just been better off asking for more money up front.

I mean the production companies, producers and distributors are making money from the work so the artists should as well. If Paramount is going to make money in perpetuity off my work, I should get a share of that pie.

I’m all for increased residuals.

Right, I’m agreeing with you - I think people remember it as Amy Ryan having a big arrow pointing at her the whole time when it really wasn’t.

This is where I can see why they did what they did with makeup. Not just the nose, but the other prosthetics:

The real question is, how important is Bradley Cooper’s nose to the makeup of the movie?

Amy Ryan also didn’t have a ton of screen time and wasn’t clearly a suspect until close to the end - other than those who were playing the classic Law & Order game of “the most famous person probably did it.”

Wouldn’t the Arconia should shut down with all these deaths? Who would want to keep living there realistically?

I think there are rational reasons for why mutants would not have engaged in the stuff that has happened in the MCU. Plus, there’s been plenty of big ol’ heroes making big ol’ noise - makes it easier to hide your school of special students...

Donna poisoned him.

I like a mix. I personally like when the technicals aren’t especially hard, but you can tell people have just never heard of the thing they have to make and they’re relying on what other people are doing and assumptions.

The Gifted had shed 2 million viewers since its premiere. As someone who watched both The Gifted and Legion religiously, the writing was on the wall with The Gifted and I doubt had anything to do with Disney. Legion’s ending was planned by most accounts (and they pretty much had wrapped up their narrative). I will

I’m sure there will be shenanigans, but I feel like the comics have also just been pleased to shrug and say “because there has been.”

There are countless mutants who can manipulate memory, computer data and reality. It’s not that hard to hand wave it and pull a “we’ve been among you all along” situation.

There is also the rumor that Fantastic Four will be set in the 60s. I can see a world where the Mutants have been actively hiding because of something that happened - a detail they used a bit in First Class with Charles erasing their paper trail (literally).

Both The Gifted ended in February 2019. The acquisition didn’t go through until March 2019.

Deadpool 3 is allegedly having Hugh Jackman in a major role (I’ll believe it’s not a trick cameo when it comes out). Seems like they’re just fine with going back to the well.

There have been a lot of complaints about the bakes being too difficult so I imagine they are simplifying some things to show they ate listening.

They are almost entirely different especially fundamental things like the alphabet and word order.
