Of course dealers are trying to steer people away from EVs and into ICE vehicles.  Dealerships make at least 75% of their revenue from service and once a new EV leaves, the service department will probably never see it again.

Proud Mary has already announced the fact that they are going to make a new Bolt with Ultium battery, probably due in 2025.  In the mean time they are going to be making 2023 Bolts in the Orion plant until at least late January of 2024.

Too many horror stories about the reliability of this vintage Mini.  The fact that it’s a slush-box makes it even more of an ND.

Maybe you would consider a Leaf if you had a realllllyyyy long extension cord.

The Bolt is the least expensive BEV for sale in the U.S.  (the Leaf is not in the same ballpark.)  GM got smart and after cancelling it, flip/flopped and said they were going to build a new Bolt with the Ultium battery and new motor.  There is a market for less expensive BEVs.  As hoser68 said, It’s hard to find one…

Once someone figures out a way to simulate “Rolling Coal” with it, the Hummer will become the next Bro Truck.

I agree with your opinion of the Bolt.  I’m on my second one now.  I put 40,000 miles on my first one and only had to rotate the tires and put washer fluid in it.  265 miles costs me $4.
