I don’t like to see writers get piled on, even when the initial criticism directed at them is fair, but can she really just do that? I mean can she just decide not to start a traditional Saturday evening post, like (for example) if Bobby Finger was pissed one morning and just peaced out on Dirt Bag? I’m empathic…

I’m not an advocate of piling on, but regarding my comment in particular, it would have taken just as much time to link to her earlier explanatory comment as it would to type “See above,” and doing the former would actually be helpful. “See above” is confusing at best, meaningless at worst.

I would agree that becoming upset at Lamar Odom’s inclusion in Dirt Bag is an overreaction. But Muhammad Ali does not belong here. His death is not gossip, nor mere “overnight news.”
