Our annual is 14.4 and we already passed 21 inches. Its great, but that storm Friday took it from “slow and soaking” to “firehose” mode. CA doesn’t handle firehose mode well.

The mud slides are because of hill cuts and the dirt moving back to what’s called the angle of repose. If you look at the surrounding area you can see what that angle is and the road work made certain areas steeper.
Sure am glad we spent the cash to update our infrastructure and increase holding capacity during the dry years... oh wait...
The dude sacrificed an expensive car to save someone else’s life.
EVERY MORNING I WAKE UP AND OPEN PALM SLAM A VHS INTO THE SLOT. ITS FIFTTY SHADES OF GREY AND RIGHT THEN AND THERE I START DOING THE MOVES ALONGSIDE WITH THE MAIN CHARACTERS, CHRISTIAN. She knows she’s never getting a Black Widow solo film (sorry, but like Hawkeye, she’s just a boring human character and wouldn’t make for an interesting film)
Side note: Black Widow may be just a boring human, but marvel has shown that they can get behind a story with just a human (ahem Daredevil). If anything, a Black Widow movie could be a spy thriller on steroids. And people will see that. They keep seeing those Bond films- so why not a black widow movie?
In response to your second paragraph, that’s how I understood it as well.
It’s not even accidental. Musk planned that. (He wanted the 3 to be a Model E, but Ford said no.) (Also, Ford would likely block a Model T, too. But Tesla is going to make a Model Y)
Ford wouldn’t let Tesla have the Model E either. That’s why it’s called the Model 3.
Musk has already said the Y is next.
You need the S3X before you can S3XT.
No I mean the person(s) that made it seem like its a security issue. It is but it isn’t. Wasn’t a security issue until it was put out there that you could open the trunk that way. Who would think to feel around on the outside of a car for that?
Considering these comments were made at a red carpet event for an HBO miniseries that she stars in, I think it’s more a matter of quotes being used out of context than her knocking TV altogether.
Yes, absolutely it’s on the coaches here, especially considering the new “offensive mastermind” of the moment bumbled his way through the 4th quarter.
See, this is exactly why the Patriots win as much as they do - they play the percentages, and other teams do not. Belichick nearly always does what statistically gives his team the best chance to win, which in that situation would have meant run, run, run.
There’s apparently some kind of stupid disease that overtakes opposing coaches, when they have a chance to put away NE in the SB with simple run plays, and they choose risky passes instead.
That’s a shit take. They have a pro-bowl kicker. This was a no-brainer. If they missed the FG, the sole target of ire would be the kicker. It was obvious the defense was gassed, burning time and centering the ball for a chip shot was the only answer.
Lost in my mixed feelings about the win (because my team has been co-opted by a despot and Nazis, and the three most important people associated with the team refuse to disown a terrible man because he was nice to them) is that the Falcons final drive in OT - with the sack and the holding penalty - capped one of the…
Totally agree. If Kyle Shannahan didn’t screw up by not running the ball three times on the NE 22, Julio is most likely the MVP.
