That’s an excellent idea. Filmed stage plays are much, much better than they used to be. The Globe in London, the Stratford in Ontario, and Broadway on...well, Broadway have all done terrific filmed-live performances in recent years.

I, for one, thought that Star Trek Beyond was one of the strongest entries into the Star Trek film franchise. It’s no Wrath of Khan, but it’s at least a First Contact.
