But she had filed, correct?

Donating supplies makes it easier on the US government, not for the families. The government needs to take the full hit and be held accountable for the amount of money spent in each of the detention centers.

I do feel bad for attorneys who are tasked with defending these garbage policies. I know some of them and they are so dejected.

Here’s what makes me so angry about this: The fact that they were able to reunited them so quickly after the lawsuit indicates that they could have done so much, much sooner and either through incompetence or obstruction (maybe both) they did not.

I hear prison is a lot like summer camp.

I might have to join Twitter to confirm for myself.

well done.

Yup, that is not conservatism. That’s being a raging asshole.

except does anyone believe that except for his base?

I hate everyone who works with him too. They should all be shamed for the rest of their lives for agreeing to be part of this horrendous situation. I don’t care if Linda’s job was ordering ink for the copy machine. Linda is helping destroy our democracy.

It’s worked with other people of color, so of course they are doing it again.

There is a horrendous article about children being drugged and physically abused at a private center. There’s no way that some of these children haven’t been hurt or abused.

You are not alone, there are many of us who feel this way. But that’s why our voices are needed. Because we need to keep saying that this is not okay.

I promise to follow her career for the rest of my life. Every time she gets a new job, I will work hard to shame that employer for paying her a salary.

I would kick Stephen Miller in the balls and accept the consequences.

No joke, we have been looking into leaving the US. But I never could, because it’s too easy for me to go. There are too many who have to stay or will choose to stay and fight for what’s right.

Which is why we must hold the line. We must call our Democratic reps and tell them we will have their back. We must make it abundantly clear to every Republican rep that we are going to get them out.

Someone recently suggested a massive city-wide strike in response to a corporate policy. I thought it was a bit silly in that context, but now I feel like it will take us all shutting down the US economy to makes something happen. Rich white men need to lose money with Trump in office before they will do something

You make a very interesting point about the union. Perhaps that’s another group we should call. Not to yell at them— but to tell them that they will have the public’s support if they do what’s right.

That is a powerful call. I am going to make that call tomorrow and I hope you keep calling.
