This. If this guy were my student, he’d be instructed to pull in to the pits and given a speech on the red mist that lasts just long enough for the Porsche to be exactly 1/2 lap away if he seemed to process enough of it to be let back out.

The Z06 driver is obviously an ass, but to me the real fault is with the instructor. He should have absolutely curbed that shit WAY early in that session.

Actually, learning on a low power car with handling limits might make for a good driver. There is a reason For USA Ford and Formula Cee were popular for so many years. Spec cars with limited power, grip and brakes. Winning meant conservation of moments turn and was basically down to driver skill.

What kind of jackass track day is that? When we run NASA HPDEs at Cal Speedway (this track) they limit passing in certain areas (especially under braking) to prevent collisions. Both the Z06 and GT3 are passing slower cars off line when they are about to turn in. They should both be black flagged.
