Does this count? Opened my hood and discovered this...

Nope, still no.

In my experience, it’s very easy to be socially isolated as a woman at a man-focused event. I do car track days, but I have a feeling it’s similar in the bike world. There’s a few different crowds of guys at these events. There are some that don’t fit in these groups, but it’s rare.

... Wut.

Your post is not supportive, so just stop.

I have the Bose in my gas 2015 Colorado, and it's worth it. It's so good.

This is why Carhenge in NE is superior. They keep it maintained.

Carhenge, in the middle of nowhere Alliance, Nebraska. Everyone who thinks Cadiallac Ranch is wrong.

You do realize there’s still a woman on staff for Jalopnik, even after she leaves, right?

I only do track days, but I run slicks. Technically I can fit them in the car, but this is much easier. The track I go to the most it only about 20 minutes away, so it’s really not that bad to drive with it back there. You can’t see it, but I have a big toolbox in front of the slicks that also helps a bunch with

Not to mention “That alert came nearly after witnesses last saw Niles in public.”

For one, you have to leave your windows down, so it’s not going to do a lot of good. Dripping water from the exhaust condensate is a good way to get black flagged and pulled off track. There are items like Cool Suits if you’re really serious about staying cool. Honestly, you’re only out there for 20 to 30 minutes and

...Except you can’t use your AC while at the track, so that’s irrelevant.

Track day insurance is actually a thing that exists.

Get a CG-Lock. It locks your hips in place, with about 80% of the holding power of a harness.

I drive my car at track days (driving on a road course rack track, but not racing. I still see speeds of 140mph.) and I’ll be one of maybe 5 lady-drivers with 100+ guys. It’s completely silly, but I still wear eyeliner and mascara and instantly fix my ponytail when I take my helmet off. It helps me if I feel at least

I’m also a 6’ woman, and yes. Doing a lot of prep work like cutting veggies on the counter, or scooping out cookie dough or something like that where I have to bend over just enough to work with the counter, can be torture. Washing dishes is awful, which is why a dishwasher is now required in any apartment I live in.

Right? Not only that, the announcer figured out I’m a woman, so every time I came up to the tree he went something like “Let’s see if she’s any better this time!”

I have two horrible track day experiences, but I think I’ll go with this one...
